Pamela Gonzales – SoHo store launch party

12 Oct

I was honored to get invited to the designer Pamela Gonzales launched party at the Soho concept store which is located at 311 West Broadway. The store launched party was very much a success, with many guest media to help boost the word about the store. Unfortunately due to over crowed at the event, I wasn’t able to take images of all the designers who display their collection (Sad) but here are some images that I was able to capture. Check it out!

12 Oct

Cat Footwear NYC showroom has opened their doors for the launch party of Autumn/Winter 2012 collection with a sneak peak of Spring/Summer 2013 on Thursday October 11. AMP3 Public Relations, who had made the event possible gave every guest a warmed welcome. I absolutely love the hospitality and politeness, AMP3 PR went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. The event provided the guest with light bite snacks and drinks gifting us with a pair of Cat A/W 2012 shoes (IN LOVE).

Cocktails were sponsored by Iceberg Vodka and snacks included assorted popcorn flavors by Pipcorn and cake cups by Bee’s Knees Baking Co.

Okay! I don’t know about you but, I need to have every pair of these amazing Spring/Summer 2013 women shoes.

The shoes are made with great quality, even the men with least fashion sense can rock the shoes in style making their outfit stylish without them realizing it. The men’s brand is designed for the hard working man who needs a strong lasting pair of shoes.

(Image below) Love the WARREN full train leather men shoes from the Legendary Raw Collection on the top row and also the amazing VINSON Suede pull up black leather men boots on the bottom row which also comes in full grain leather.

Neodandi Spring 2013 – Runway Show

18 Sep

Thursday September 13 was officially the last week of New York Fashion Week and I enjoyed every minute of it. One of my good amazing fashionista friend and I had attend Neodandi Spring 2013 Runway Show taking place at Stollway. The event was an introduction from designer Niilartey De Osu officially opening a pop-up store later this Fall in NYC.

Neodandi didn’t just do any ordinary runway show, the show included choreographed dancers posing wearing the garments. It was a thirty minutes performance of human expression in fashion design. According to Niilartey De Osu “Deconstructionism is not the deconstruction of clothing, but rather the deconstruction of society’s rules. It is the expulsion of restraint and the embracement of expression“.

Unfortunately I was unable to take images of the performance due to a lot of people on the event but I do however have these images of the mannequins with some of the Spring 2013 collection to show you guys,

September how I love you,…

18 Sep

September was one of busiest month ever for me. First, there’s final’s at school and I had so many projects to hand over to my professors. Second, lets not forget September also includes New York Fashion Week. Yes! unfortunately I was unable to RSVP many invitations I had received due to studying (School comes first). Luckily I made time to attend Nolcha Fashion week on September 12 taken place at the beautiful Pier 59 Studios.

For those who don’t know, Nolcha Fashion Week is an event where many independent talented designers are able to showcase their latest collection on the runway. After a long day of classes I was so happy to hop on the train and bus to arrive at this beautiful location. Feeling the pure air breeze and the ocean smell made me realize how fortunate I am.

Scent of Seduction was one of the sponsors for Nolcha Fashion Week. It’s a luxury fragrance for both unisex designed by master perfumer Francesco Bellini.

RUSK haircare products and styling tools were provided at Nolcha Fashion Week. Models walking down the runway had amazing hair styles and guest were able to purchase the products as well.

Perfect way to end Nolcha Fashion week is being assigned front row seat for the last fashion shows. I love and enjoyed my seat with a bag full of goodies.

Aisha x Artini SS’2013 – Nolcha Fashion Week

17 Sep

Nothing made my night than having front row seat at Aisha x Artini by Dany Tabet Fashion show. It was the last show of the night during Nolcha Fashion Week and may I add it was fantastic. I couldn’t get enough of each piece coming down the runway. One by one you would left more speechless than ever.

Dany Tabet is the head designer for Aisha x Artini Collection. On September 12 at Pier 59 Studios Dany introduce us his beautiful Spring Summer 2013 haute couture collection. Dany inspiration to the new Aisha x Artini S/S 2013 is “the beauty of the land and its people”. It’s aimed for women with high-class, very glamours, and elegance. Every piece walking down the runway made me want to pull out my wallet and purchase them all. I admire the beautiful unique detail, modern and high-end style. The collection includes evening gowns and wedding dress with the finest fabric and detail created at Middle East.

KabukiU Spring/Summer’2013 – Nolcha Fashion Week

17 Sep

Designer Telina Webb debuted KabukiU Spring Summer 2013 Collection during Nolcha Fashion Week at Pier 59 Studios. Kimono’s by Telina offers 3-piece Kimono Trousseau inspire by European-Asian culture. The collection is design for beauty and classic traditional women yet modern.

The Kimono trousseau really caught my attention with various of bright colors walking down the runway along with different texture and motifs. Not only did the collection contain trousseau but as well added a few dresses inspire from the 1950’s like this beautiful olive-green dress.

Model Above; walking down the runway with a elegant modern trousseau bride gown.

I very much enjoyed my front row seat at KabukiU Kimono’s by Telina SS’2013 fashion show. It had various types of kimono trousseaus with different traditional dressing techniques but yet resembling a little bit to the american defination of trousseaus.

Pamela Gonzales SS’2013 – Nolcha Fashion Week

16 Sep

Pamela Gonzales is only 20 years old and has made quit of impact during Nolcha Fashion Week, enjoying every minute of the fashion show at the front row seat.

(Dress Above) As soon as the model came out the runway wearing this beautiful luxurious silk dress it completely left me speechless. I had no words to say at the moment. I capture a perfect image but yet nothing can compare seeing it up close in person and admiring the construction of the garment.

Origin from Peru, Pamela Gonzales has introduce us to her second collection and is soon opening a concept store in SoHo, Ny. The theme for her SS/2013 is “mystique summer, sea treasures” using a lot of champagne, gold and coral representing the sand and daylight. Black and turquoise are the colors representing the deep ocean and strong colors of night-time. I love Pamela Gonzales use of texture, beautiful fabric of silk, her talented creation of drapes and different cut-out shape of angles. The collection is very feminine and a timeless unique piece that would make you stand out the crowed.
